Observing Ramadan: Traditional Practices in Brunei

In accordance with Islamic tradition, Muslims worldwide observe fasting, prayer, and introspection throughout the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan plays a significant role in Brunei's cultural and religious traditions. Brunei is a small country in Southeast Asia with a majority-Muslim population. We'll look at various Ramadan customs in Brunei and how the local population observes them in this blog. Fasting: The most significant element of Ramadan is fasting. Muslims in Brunei abstain from food, water, and other basic necessities from dawn till dusk.
